Multimedia Playlist Management

Organising video, images, audio and live widgets into structured, rule-based playlists so each screen plays the right mix, in the right order and duration, without constant manual rearranging.

Overview

Why it matters
for your business.

As screen networks grow, content libraries become messy. Expired promotions keep playing, important messages get buried in long loops and different screens need slightly different mixes. Rebuilding sequences by hand for each location is tedious and error-prone. We design playlist structures and rules that keep playback organised and predictable.

We work out how content should rotate, for example brand loops, priority messages, location-specific items and advertiser slots, then build nested playlists with weighting, expiry dates and fallback content. Media is tagged so playlists can update automatically when new items are added. We also optimise file formats and sizes so playback is smooth on your players.

How is playlist management different from content scheduling?

Playlist management decides what plays and in what order within a loop, including weighting and rotation rules. Scheduling decides when a playlist or campaign runs, by date, day and time. The two work together, and we can set up both in the same signage platform.

Can we report how often an advertiser’s content was shown?

Yes, if your signage platform supports proof-of-play logging, which most commercial and custom platforms do. We configure logging and create reports by content item, screen and time period, which you can share with advertisers or sponsors as evidence of airtime.
