Android Application Development
Native Android apps built in Kotlin that run smoothly across the wide range of phones and tablets your customers in India and abroad actually use.
Overview
Why it matters
for your business.
Android powers most smartphones in India, but the device mix is messy: budget handsets with limited memory, older OS versions, patchy networks and dozens of screen sizes. An app that works on a flagship phone can crash or crawl on the devices your users own. We design and build native Android apps in Kotlin that are tuned for this reality, from first wireframe to Play Store release.
Our engineers start by agreeing a realistic minimum Android version and a test device list based on your audience. We use Jetpack Compose and modern architecture patterns so the codebase stays readable as features grow. Offline handling, app size and battery use are treated as requirements, not afterthoughts. You see working builds every sprint through internal testing tracks, so feedback arrives early and surprises stay small.
What's included
- Kotlin source code in your own repository
- UI built with Jetpack Compose and Material Design
- Signed release build and Play Console listing setup
- Device compatibility test report
- Crash reporting and analytics configured
- Technical handover documentation
Outcomes
What changes
for your business.
Ideal for
- Businesses with mostly Android-using customers
- Apps needing deep device hardware access
- Teams replacing an ageing Java Android app
Works on real devices
Your app is tested on the budget and mid-range phones your customers use, not just on emulators.
Lean, fast app
Careful attention to app size and startup time helps users on slower networks install and open it quickly.
Maintainable codebase
A clean Kotlin architecture means new features can be added later without rewriting what already works.

FAQ
Common
questions.
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Why choose native Android instead of a cross-platform app?
Native Android makes sense when your users are overwhelmingly on Android, or when you need close access to hardware such as Bluetooth devices, background location, NFC or custom camera features. If you also need an iPhone app soon, we will tell you honestly whether a cross-platform approach would cost you less overall.
Which Android versions will the app support?
We agree this at the start using your audience data and Google Play’s current target API requirements. Supporting very old versions adds testing effort, so we typically recommend a minimum version that covers the large majority of your users while keeping the app secure and maintainable.
