Citizen Service Portals

Single-window portals where citizens apply for, pay for and receive government services online, with service level timelines, delivery of digitally signed certificates and multilingual access.

Overview

Why it matters
for your business.

Citizens should not need to know which office handles which certificate or visit several counters for one service. Single-window citizen service portals bring many services together behind one login, under a consistent experience, so people apply once and receive outcomes digitally. We build citizen service portals for states, districts, municipalities and departments, aligned with Right to Services obligations and notified service timelines.

We catalogue the services, harmonise their forms and define service level timelines for each step. Citizens authenticate through mobile OTP, Aadhaar-based authentication where permitted, or existing state single sign-on. Applications route to the responsible office, fees are paid online and certificates are issued with digital signatures and QR verification. Common Service Centre operators can apply on behalf of citizens, and dashboards highlight delays against service timelines.

FAQ

Common
questions.

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

How does this differ from an online application system?

An application system typically handles one process, such as a scholarship. A citizen service portal brings many services under one citizen identity, shared payment and document handling, consistent service timelines and delivery of certificates. It often integrates existing application systems rather than replacing them all at once.

Can certificates be pushed to citizens’ DigiLocker accounts?

Yes, once the department is onboarded as a DigiLocker issuer. Certificates issued by the portal can then be made available in citizens’ DigiLocker accounts, where they are accepted as valid documents by other departments. We support the technical integration and the onboarding process.
