SaaS Product Development & Engineering
Proof-of-Concept & Prototype Development
Short, focused builds that test whether a software idea is technically feasible or appealing to users, giving you evidence to proceed, pivot or stop before committing larger budgets.
Overview
Why it matters
for your business.
Before investing in full product development, you often need to answer one sharp question. Can this integration work? Will this algorithm perform on our data? Will users understand this workflow? A proof of concept answers technical questions; a prototype answers usability and desirability questions. We build whichever you need, quickly and with clear success criteria.
We agree the question, the evaluation criteria and a fixed timebox before starting. The build is deliberately narrow, using whatever shortcuts are safe so effort goes into the uncertain part. At the end you receive a working demo, findings, and an honest recommendation on whether and how to move forward, including what would change for production.
What's included
- Defined hypothesis and success criteria
- Working proof of concept or clickable prototype
- Test results against agreed criteria
- Feasibility findings and identified risks
- Recommendation with production effort estimate
- Demo session for stakeholders
Outcomes
What changes
for your business.
Ideal for
- Innovation teams testing new software ideas
- Startups validating technical feasibility
- Enterprises assessing new platforms before procurement
De-risked investment
You find out whether the hardest part works before committing budget to a full product build.
Stakeholder buy-in
A tangible demo makes ideas easier to explain to leadership, investors or prospective customers.
Clearer requirements
Building something real exposes hidden assumptions and sharpens the scope for any subsequent development.

What is the difference between a proof of concept and an MVP?
A proof of concept tests feasibility and is usually internal, often never seen by customers. An MVP is a real product released to paying users. A successful proof of concept or prototype frequently becomes the input for an MVP, but the code is not always reused.
Can the prototype code be used in production?
Sometimes, but we do not assume so. Prototypes take shortcuts on security, scale and testing to answer questions quickly. In our recommendation we state clearly which parts could be hardened and reused and which should be rebuilt properly for production.
