How do you protect the target company's confidential code?
We sign NDAs with all parties and review code within the target's environment or a controlled data room wherever possible. We do not retain copies after the engagement, and the report shares findings and examples only to the extent needed for decisions.
Can a startup commission a review on itself?
Yes. A self-commissioned review before fundraising is common. It surfaces issues you can fix or explain in advance, and gives you a professional report to share with investors, which can make their own diligence quicker and more focused.
