Can you test integrations with payment gateways like Razorpay?
Yes, using the provider’s test or sandbox mode, which simulates success, failure and pending outcomes without real money. We also verify webhook handling, signature validation and reconciliation logic, which are common sources of payment defects.
How is this different from API testing?
API testing validates individual endpoints in depth: inputs, outputs, errors and security. Integration testing focuses on how components work together across those interfaces, including data flow between systems, message handling and behaviour when a dependency fails.
