IT Security Assessment & Advisory
A risk-based review of your IT environment, policies and practices, with practical advice on which security improvements will reduce your exposure most for the budget available.
Overview
Why it matters
for your business.
Many organisations know they should improve security but cannot tell where to begin. Is the bigger risk an unpatched server, shared admin passwords or staff clicking phishing links? We assess your people, processes and technology against a recognised framework such as the CIS Critical Security Controls or NIST CSF, scaled to your size.
The assessment combines interviews, configuration reviews and light technical checks. We map findings to business impact and regulatory expectations, including the DPDP Act 2023 and CERT-In directions on incident reporting and log retention. You receive a prioritised plan and can retain us as ongoing security advisers to guide implementation and decisions.

FAQ
Common
questions.
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Is this the same as a penetration test?
No. A penetration test probes specific systems for exploitable weaknesses. This assessment is broader, examining governance, policies, access, backups, endpoint protection, awareness and incident readiness. It often recommends where penetration testing would be most worthwhile.
What does the advisory relationship look like after the assessment?
Typically a fixed number of advisory hours each month. We review progress on the roadmap, answer security questions, evaluate vendors or tools, help respond to customer security questionnaires and support decisions when incidents or new regulations arise.
