Data Protection Architecture Consulting

Designing how personal and sensitive data flows, is stored, encrypted, minimised and deleted across your systems, building privacy and security into architecture in line with the DPDP Act 2023.

Overview

Why it matters
for your business.

Privacy obligations under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and laws such as the GDPR for global clients, are easier to meet when systems are designed for them. In practice, personal data is often copied into analytics tools, logs, test databases and spreadsheets without anyone tracking where it went.

We map personal data across your systems, classify it by sensitivity and design protective architecture: data minimisation, encryption and key management, tokenisation or pseudonymisation, retention and deletion workflows, consent capture and data principal request handling. Recommendations are practical for your stack and budget, and we work alongside your legal advisers rather than replacing them.

FAQ

Common
questions.

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

Is this legal advice on DPDP Act compliance?

No. We provide technical architecture and implementation guidance. Interpretation of legal obligations, privacy notices and contracts should come from qualified legal counsel. We work closely with your lawyers so technical controls match their interpretation of the requirements.

Do we need to rebuild our systems to protect personal data?

Rarely. Most improvements are incremental: removing unnecessary data copies, masking test databases, encrypting sensitive fields, adding retention jobs and centralising consent. We prioritise changes by risk and effort, so meaningful progress fits within normal development cycles.
