Server Virtualization Solutions
Consolidating physical servers onto virtualised hosts using VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or HPE platforms, cutting hardware sprawl and making workloads easier to protect, move and scale.
Overview
Why it matters
for your business.
Running each application on its own physical server wastes power, space and money, and makes recovery slow when hardware fails. Server virtualisation runs many workloads as virtual machines on fewer, more capable hosts. Choosing the right platform has become more important since VMware licensing changes, with Hyper-V, Proxmox VE and HPE VM Essentials now realistic alternatives for many organisations.
We profile existing workloads, compare hypervisor options on features, licensing and skills, and design a cluster with shared storage, redundant networking and high availability. After building the platform, we convert physical servers to virtual machines, validate applications and decommission old hardware. Backup integration and administrator training ensure your team can run the new environment confidently.
What's included
- Workload profiling and consolidation plan
- Hypervisor platform comparison and recommendation
- Clustered virtualisation design with high availability
- Platform build and shared storage integration
- Physical-to-virtual conversions and validation
- Backup integration and administrator training
Outcomes
What changes
for your business.
Ideal for
- Offices running many ageing physical servers
- Organisations reconsidering VMware licensing
- Institutions consolidating departmental servers
Fewer physical servers
Consolidation reduces hardware, rack space, power and cooling needed to run the same workloads.
Faster recovery
Virtual machines restart on another host when hardware fails, and are easier to back up and restore.
Licence-aware platform choice
You pick a hypervisor based on features, cost and skills rather than habit or a single vendor.

FAQ
Common
questions.
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Should we move away from VMware?
It depends on your size, features used and budget. Some organisations stay with VMware for its maturity and ecosystem; others find Hyper-V, Proxmox or HPE VM Essentials meet their needs at lower cost. We compare total cost and migration effort before you decide.
Will our applications run the same on virtual machines?
Most business applications run without change. Exceptions include software tied to hardware dongles, specific serial devices or vendor support restrictions. We identify these during profiling and plan workarounds, such as USB-over-network devices, or keep them physical if needed.
