HPE StoreOnce Cloud Bank Storage tiers deduplicated backup data to object storage, such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob or S3-compatible platforms like MinIO and Scality. You keep an off-site copy for disaster recovery and long retention without shipping tapes.
We design the tiering approach, choose suitable object storage and configure Cloud Bank stores with encryption and appropriate access keys. Backup software policies are adjusted so the right restore points are copied to Cloud Bank. Detach and restore procedures are tested, so data can be recovered at another site, and bandwidth and storage costs are reviewed after go-live.

Cloud Bank Storage is typically licensed by capacity on the StoreOnce appliance, separate from the object storage service you pay for. We check your current licences, estimate the capacity you need and explain both cost components before configuration.
Can we keep the data in India?
Yes. You can target cloud regions in India or an S3-compatible object store in your own or a colocation data centre. We configure the target based on your residency, contractual and DPDP Act considerations.
