Do we need a physical appliance or will the virtual edition do?
StoreOnce VSA runs as a virtual machine and suits smaller sites, branches or cloud-adjacent deployments. Physical appliances offer higher capacity and performance for larger environments. We size both against your data and retention, then recommend the more practical choice.
Does StoreOnce work with our existing backup software?
StoreOnce Catalyst integrates with Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, HPE Data Protector and others. If your software lacks Catalyst support, StoreOnce can still act as a NAS or VTL target, though deduplication efficiency may differ. We confirm compatibility during design.
