How do you find applications we do not know about?
We combine several sources: single sign-on and identity logs, expense and card statements, firewall and proxy traffic, endpoint inventories and short surveys of department heads. Together these surface shadow IT that a simple questionnaire would miss.
Does the assessment cover custom-built software?
Yes. In-house and vendor-built custom applications are often the most important to assess. We review their technology stack, support arrangements and documentation, and note where code quality or key-person dependency creates risk.
