Cloud Security Configuration
Hardening the security settings of your cloud accounts, from identity and network controls to encryption, logging and threat detection, closing the misconfigurations attackers commonly exploit.
Overview
Why it matters
for your business.
Most cloud breaches stem from configuration mistakes, not exotic attacks. Public storage buckets, overly broad IAM roles, missing MFA, open database ports and disabled logging are common findings. Cloud security configuration systematically finds and fixes these gaps in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud, using recognised benchmarks as a baseline.
We scan your accounts against CIS Benchmarks and provider security standards, then prioritise fixes by real risk. Identity is tightened with MFA, least-privilege roles and removal of long-lived keys. Network exposure is reduced, encryption and key management are enabled, and audit logs are centralised and retained to meet CERT-In log retention directions. Native threat detection services are switched on and tuned.
What's included
- Security posture scan against CIS Benchmarks
- Risk-prioritised remediation of misconfigurations
- MFA and least-privilege identity controls
- Encryption and key management configuration
- Centralised audit logging with suitable retention
- Threat detection and security alerting setup
Outcomes
What changes
for your business.
Ideal for
- Companies preparing for security audits
- SaaS vendors answering customer security questionnaires
- Fintech and healthtech teams handling sensitive data
Fewer exposed resources
Public buckets, open ports and broad permissions are closed, shrinking the attack surface of your cloud accounts.
Audit-ready logging
Centralised, retained logs support incident investigation and help meet CERT-In reporting requirements.
Continuous visibility
Security alerts and posture dashboards show new risks as soon as they appear, not months later.
How we deliver
A clear, accountable
process.
Every engagement follows the same disciplined approach, adapted to the size and urgency of your project.
- 01
Assess
We review your current systems, costs, risks and constraints, and agree what success looks like.
- 02
Design
You get a target architecture and a phased roadmap with clear effort, risks and dependencies.
- 03
Implement
We build, configure or migrate with change control, testing and minimal disruption.
- 04

FAQ
Common
questions.
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
Is this the same as a penetration test?
No. Configuration review examines settings inside your cloud accounts with authorised access, while a penetration test simulates an attacker probing from outside. They complement each other. Fixing configuration issues first usually makes a later penetration test more productive.
What do the CERT-In directions mean for our cloud setup?
Among other things, the 2022 CERT-In directions require reporting certain cyber incidents within a short window and maintaining logs of ICT systems for a defined period within India. We configure logging and retention to support these obligations and explain what your team must do operationally.
