Will adding tests slow down our pipeline?
It can if done poorly. We keep commit-stage tests fast, run slower suites in parallel or on schedule, cache dependencies and use test selection where possible. The aim is quick feedback on every change and thorough checks before release.
Do you need admin access to our CI system?
We need enough access to create or edit pipeline configuration and secrets for test environments, usually via a scoped account or pull requests reviewed by your team. Secrets are stored in your CI secret store, never in code.
